The Origins of Halloween




Some typical Halloween activities people participate in are

-apple bobbing

-going trick or treating

-watching scary movies

-telling scary stories

-going to haunted houses


The name Halloween comes from the Pagan holiday and was originally named All Hallows Eve.

 Halloween is celebrated on October 31

 UNICEF stands for United Nations children's fund.

 UNICEF is connected to trick or treating because they have a fundraising program.


In the Lower Mainland you can go to the Stanley Park Halloween Ghost Train, Potter's House of Horrors and or the Haunted Forest Scream Train.
